Lazika Black Tea
What is Black Tea?
White, green, and black teas all come from the Camellia Sinensis plant's budding tips and upper leaves. Black tea differs from green and white tea in that its leaves are fully oxidized and undergo a fermentation process.
Lazika Black Tea
Lazika Black Tea is special because it is derived from the first harvest, known as May Tea. This is the first harvest after the winter. The leaves are nourished by snowmelt and are of the highest quality, harvested in these months, and therefore known as the May harvest or May shoots.
Special Production Process
It is made from the top leaves, known as the 2.5 leaves, which are cut by hand. The leaves passing through the second and third sieves are filtered twice, leaving fresh tea leaves on top, resulting in a tea with a high aroma, dust-free, clear, and high quality. It contains no additional tea extracts or tea aromas.
Lazika Bergamot Flavored Black Tea
This variety of Lazika Black Tea is enhanced with a natural bergamot flavor. By using 1% bergamot essence, the black tea takes on the flavor of bergamot without losing its own unique aroma and taste.
Lazika Black Tea Bergamot-Orange
Lazika Black Tea is made with 1% bergamot aroma and an additional 1% dried orange peel to create a natural and refreshing citrus flavor.
Lazika Yayla Tea Black Tea
Yayla tea, a precious plant collected from the Kaçkar highlands, is a part of the traditional healing practice of the local people. It adds a natural freshness to the tea while lightening its color, making it the perfect choice for those who don’t prefer strong tea.
How to Brew Black Tea?
In a standard-sized teapot, pour 3-4 tablespoons of Lazika Black Tea into boiling water at 100°C. (This amount may vary based on your teapot and the number of people, so it’s best to adjust it to your preference.) Lower the heat and let it brew for 17 minutes. The key point is to pour the tea into the boiling water to allow it to steep slowly without burning, waiting for it to gently settle at the bottom.
